Dear Wildcats,
Thanks for attending the
Fifth Annual Wheatley School Alumni Association NYC Lunch. According to
my records, 28 people were there: 27 actual graduates and Ricky Jalonack’s
wife. The list is at the end of this e-mail; please correct any mistakes
of over- or under-inclusion.
I thought that the location
was great; the space was fair (harsh lighting, low ceiling, and somewhat
noisy); the food was mediocre; the service was excellent; the price was nice;
and, most important of all, the conversations were lengthy and animated.
Far fewer people attended this one than attended the last few, which I will
attribute to proximity to the Wheatley 60th and the late March date,
when people have more to do than in the dead of winter (mid-January) when all
prior lunches took place. Any other theories?
All in all, I’d say
reasonably successful, and I assume I’ll organize another one next year.
Special thanks to those of you who sent me positive feedback and who threw in a
few extra bucks.

suggestions, feedback (positive or negative) welcome.

good, although, as usual, I wish I had taken more. You can view them by

Finally, the Class of 1966
edged out the Class of 1967, by a score of seven to six. Wait’ll next
year!
